Nylon virgin grades
DOMO® Chemicals offers Nylon 6 for different applications under the brand name DOMAMID®.Nylon 6 is produced by polymerisation of Caprolactam. DOMO® Chemicals operates different polymerisation plants in Leuna/Germany, Gent/Belgium and Premnitz/Germany. The backward integration ensures DOMO® Chemicals access to continuous and high quality raw material sources.
The Nylon 6 product range includes different granulates for engineering plastics as well as special grades for yarn production.
Domamid® prime grades for engineering plastics are characterized by its nature colour and are offered at different viscosity ranges.
Domamid® grades for spinning extrusion are developed by using own background in the field of yarn production. The product range includes Nylon 6 grades for multifilament, BCF and highly stabilized Polyamide 6 - HS types - especially for production of textile yarns in high speed spinning processes. Domamid® grades for spinning extrusion are produced in bright or semi dull qualities.
