The Arco plant is located in the Italian province of Trento, in the north of the country, near Lake Garda. At this site, DOMO produces technical materials based on PA6 and PA66, as well as some specialties based on other resins. The plant covers an area of 30,000 m2 and includes 8 compounding lines with a nominal capacity of up to 40 kt/year. Approximately 120 people work at the Arco site. Arco also has an R&D and color laboratory where special materials and colored polymers are developed according to specific customer requirements. Arco is ISO 9001 and 14001 certified.
At Arco, DOMO concentrates production for the European market of its TECHNYL®4EARTH® (formerly ECONAMID) product line: sustainable polyamide-based solutions derived from the recycling of secondary raw materials. The environmental benefits of these materials have been certified by an LCA study.
