DOMO Chemicals, a leading integrated supplier and provider of PA6 and PA66 material solutions to the plastics processing industry, today announces to not exhibit with a physical booth at the upcoming Fakuma 2021, taking place from 12 to 15 October 2021 in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Customers can connect with the DOMO staff at the booth of Ultrapolymers, a leading European distributor of DOMO’s technical polymers such as TECHNYL®*, DOMAMID®, THERMEC™ and ECONAMID®. In addition, the second edition of our leading Connect2DOMO virtual platform, taking place in parallel to Fakuma, will offer insightful webinars, chats with experts and a new virtual Lab tour.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and the uncertain situation in regions where DOMO operates plants, DOMO Chemicals has been applying very strict travel regulations to continue to protect the health of each individual and ensure operations of our plants and laboratories. A dedicated DOMO sales and technical services team from Germany, Italy and France will be attending the Fakuma exhibition. Next to a participation at the Ultrapolymers booth (Hall A5, stand 5211), DOMO is inviting to personal meetings throughout the duration of the trade fair. Meetings can be booked via connect2domo.com.
“DOMO has always enjoyed exhibiting at Fakuma, the world’s leading technical event for industrial plastics processing. While the Covid-19 situation may have eased since last year, we also determined that many of our international customers from North America and Asia as well as from the main European countries will not attend the show, either due to local restrictions or due to corporate policies,” says Philippe Guérineau, Chief Commercial Officer Europe and EU Export DOMO Chemicals. “We look forward to visiting this year’s exhibition with our teams and connect virtually, and we already look forward to Fakuma 2023 which will again serve as a great platform to present our leading high-performance polyamide solutions.”
Connect2DOMO: A digital experience of DOMO’s polyamide solutions
Building on the success of last year’s premiere, DOMO is again organizing Connect2DOMO during Fakuma. The second edition of our digital event offers solution-oriented webinars with a strong focus on e-mobility and urbanization. Other topics include battery cooling for electric vehicles, fuel cell solutions, water management, as well as laser-markable solutions. Registration is now open via connect2domo.com. The webinars will be available on demand.
In addition to seven webinars, a completely new virtual tour of our Application Part Testing Lab lets customers explore our advanced simulation and performance testing capabilities. “Thanks to our cutting-edge technical expertise and support in the field of predictive simulation and part testing, we can support customers by accelerating the development and validation of Technyl® applications for the automotive, consumer and electrical markets,” says Sebastien Nebut, Part Testing Lab Manager at our laboratories at our Belle-Etoile site (France).
