STABAMID® PA66 base polymers

Meeting customer needs for engineering plastics
Meeting customer needs for engineering plastics
The STABAMID® Polyamide 6.6, 6.10, 6.12 and copolyamide 6.6/6 virgin resins deliver excellent mechanical performance for engineering plastics applications in automotive, electrical & electronic components and consumer goods.
STABAMID® grades offer high resistance to lubricants, engine fuels, hydraulic fluids, coolants, cleaners & detergents, and solvents, even at elevated temperatures. They also provide excellent resistance to hot water and steam, making STABAMID® ideal for automotive coolant system applications.
STABAMID® grades are suitable for a wide range of compounds with outstanding properties, such as thermal resistance up to 150°C, mechanical properties (tensile and flexural modulus), impact resistance, thermo mechanical and electrical properties (good thermal ageing) and a better resistance to solvent absorption thanks to their higher crystallinity.

Meeting customer needs for industrial yarns
STABAMID® heat stabilized polyamide 6.6 virgin resins are suitable for a wide range of industrial yarn applications, such as for tire cords, air bag yarns, sewing threads, and mechanical rubber goods. STABAMID® grades benefit from a good ability to be post-condensed, stability of additive concentration and good dispersion to improve the life of the spinning pack. STABAMID® grades also have low gel content to decrease spinning breaks.

Meeting customer needs for textile yarn
STABAMID® polyamide 6.6, 6.10 and 6.12 offer superior longevity and high comfort levels and are suitable for a wide range of applications, including hosiery, seamless, circular & warp knitting and weaving. STABAMID® virgin resins offer a very good titanium dioxide (TiO2) particle dispersion for better spinning, stability of the end groups and viscosity stability. These grades are less sensitive to thermal oxidation, retaining deep colors without dullness defects.
