Laser marking is common in the electrical & electronic segment, where customers need solutions that are laser-markable with multiple techniques. Multi-coloured marking requires deep formulation expertise. Discover DOMO’s laser markable solution family.
Intro
Marking manufactured goods with codes and designs has become a standard feature of modern production processes. Compared to traditional methods such as ink, sublimation and screen printing, laser-marking of plastics provides many benefits:
Excellent image quality without surface contact
Improved quality of details
Increased design flexibility
Laser marking is very common in the electrical and electronic segment, where customers need solutions that are laser-markable with multiple techniques. Multi-colored marking requires deep formulation expertise, as the final solution generally consists of a sophisticated mix of pigments and additives.
At DOMO, we are equipped with different laser marking systems for testing our formulations. This allows us to develop materials that precisely fit our customers’ needs.

Intro
Vibration welding of injection molded polyamide parts is a common practice when it comes to producing complex assemblies in many fields of application. To increase the efficiency of the development process, virtual prototyping using integrative structural MMI simulation is of particular importance. But proper validation of the simulation process is needed to build confidence in the methodology, especially when it comes to parts with important mechanical loads. DOMO Engineered Materials experts have therefore developed a demonstrator to test parts performance under load and with internal pressure of fluids.
In this seminar you will learn how this demonstrator can help you to evaluate vibration welding performance. This is backed up by the full set of DOMO testing capabilities and expertise within the field of highly predictive integrative structural simulations with the MMI Service.
