ARE ELECTRIC VEHICLES FINALLY GAINING TRACTION?

Mobility electrification toolbox

With the growing popularity of electric vehicles, TECHNYL® PURE has emerged as a top choice, thanks to its high-purity compounds that effectively combat automotive electronic corrosion and prevent the migration and deposition of contaminants. When it comes to connectors, busbars, charging plugs, and other components, TECHNYL® ONE halogen-free polyamides take the lead with their excellent flow and high-temperature resistance. To cater to the needs of high-voltage automotive components and cables in electric vehicles, TECHNYL® PROTECT, TECHNYL STAR®, and TECHNYL® ONE are available in a vibrant orange color. These grades not only offer reliable color retention and flame retardancy but also boast laser marking capabilities, as well as exceptional resistance to heat and fatigue. Additionally, a wide range of RAL colors is at your disposal.

New sustainable solutions

DOMO remains steadfast in its commitment to sustainable development. With the goal of becoming a role model for social responsibility, DOMO aims to establish itself as a top player in the polyamide industry by 2030. The introduction of TECHNYL® 4EARTH® has revolutionized the possibilities for sustainable polyamides, delivering exceptional performance comparable to traditional PA6 and PA66. With a range of grades available, including those with glass or carbon fiber content up to 50%, TECHNYL® 4EARTH® offers a 30% glass reinforced solution that can reduce carbon footprint by up to 80% compared to conventional TECHNYL®, depending on the recycled content and recycling technology used.

In the field of power tools and home appliances, the latest development under the sustainability portfolio is the result of a joint project between DOMO and MITSUBISHI Chemical Group (MCG), Performance Polymers Division, and consists of the first combination of PA6/TPE that combines excellent adhesion and haptics with sustainability through the use of recycled raw materials and unlimited color choices.
