TECHNYL® celebrates 70 years of innovation at Fakuma 2023
TECHNYL®, DOMO’s leading engineered materials polyamide brand, celebrates 70 years of innovation in flame and temperature resistance, light-weighting and sustainable solutions at Fakuma 2023 (Hall B4, Booth -4216).
Building on a rich history, the TECHNYL® brand is stronger than ever – and has been available globally since 2022 by DOMO to serve emerging trends in mobility, urbanization, miniaturization and lifestyle megatrends.
Fakuma 2023 will be an occasion to celebrate this important milestone together with customers and stakeholders, by retracing the history and the main achievements of the brand throughout the years. It will also be an opportunity to present the latest additions to the product line focused on sustainability, with the expanded TECHNYL® 4EARTH® portfolio of sustainable polyamides.

Together for an inspiring journey
Two years ago, we launched our sustainability mission to become a “benchmark for sustainable development and social responsibility” by the end of this decade. At Fakuma 2023 we will reveal some important achievements as part of our decarbonization journey that has allowed us to keep increasing our share of sustainable solutions.
High-performance polyamide materials
As a leading polyamide 6 and polyamide 66 solutions provider, DOMO will also showcase the most interesting updates within the DOMAMID® and STABAMID® virgin polymer product lines serving the engineering plastics, film, fiber and textile industries with high-quality solutions for better end-product performance.
Expanding our TECHNYL® 4EARTH portfolio
A Fakuma 2023 visitors will discover our newly launched sustainable polyamides: TECHNYL® 4EARTH A1E 218 V30 BK 34NG LP, designed for more sustainable cooling applications and TECHNYL® 4EARTH HFFR and flame-retardant polyamides - available in gray and white - based on recycled feedstock, aimed at boosting sustainability in the growing E&E market.
Solutions for consumer goods and electricals
At Fakuma, we will present TECHNYL® C 102 NC DF, a new PA6-based, unfilled dust free solution that provides optimal processability and is aligned with market standard requirements, especially for the production of electric plugs, sockets, switches and connectors.
TECHNL® SAFE Food and water contact certified polyamide
DOMO recognizes a shift away from pipe, fittings, pumps, valves and other components being made from traditional materials such as brass, steel and other metals. Owing to the increasing demand for innovation among water management solutions, TECHNYL® SAFE is making strides for higher performing systems that are better protected against corrosion and degradation.
TECHNYL® LITE UD tapes for high stiffness and strength
A major highlight at our booth will be about the unidirectional UD tapes (composites) with high stiffness and strength for lightweighting solutions under the new brand, TECHNYL® LITE. Following our launch at K2022 last year, DOMO has further developed these tapes to enhance plastic applications, specifically for structural parts used in automotive and consumer goods.
