DOMO Chemicals highlights its capabilities on the Asian market at Chinaplas 2015

At the Chinaplas fair DOMO's concept  baseline ,“In Chemicals we Trust”, underlined the companies values and customer benefits : globally present, agile and trustworthy, customer oriented, production integrated, quality focused. The exhibition was also a platform to inform the Chinaplas visitor on the new technical and commercial capabilities which will enhance the approach of the Asian market , serving the Asian customers with an extensive variety of product solutions.

Actually DOMO Chemicals intensifies its activity in China, investing in a state-of-the-art nylon compounding plant with a total final capacity of 20,000 tons as part of the global expansion of its business unit Engineering Plastics. The new compounding unit in Jiaxing will offer customers also a “Fast Response Colormatch Service” for pre-colored nylon compounds. The environmental friendly operation will meet the most stringent regulatory targets in the field of air quality fume emissions.

With this investment, DOMO Engineering Plastics  will provide its customers with a sustainable range of products, formulations and services to help them profitably grow their Asian businesses. Such as Domamid® Nylon 6 and 6.6 or High Temperature Nylon (HTN) functionalized compounds to serve the automotive, electrical and consumer goods industries.

Econamid® and Econamid® Oro, the company’s engineering polymers range based on high quality pre-consumer waste feedstock offers a complete assortment of sustainable nylon (PA6 and PA66) compounds. It combines ecology and durability while offering the highest industry quality standard.

The investment will be completed by the expansion of the current Compound Design Laboratory to offer our local partners formulation redesign, cost reducing alternatives as well as innovative nylon materials.
